I got it a few days ago and... I've beaten it :XD: But that's only because I pretty much played it nonstop. Now, I'm just going to say it... I LOVE TOMB RAIDER! I especially love Anniversary!
If you don't know what Tomb Raider: Anniversary is, allow me to tell you. Anniversary is basically an Extreme Makeover for the first Tomb Raider game. Now, it's easy to tell what things are, there are tons of polygons now. Each of the levels is like the ones from the first game, only better. Why? Well, for one, they look like real places. One of the things I like about the more recent Tomb Raider games is the fact that they can combine game play with realistic level designs. Rocks look like rocks and can be climed-like rocks-, for example.
I have Tomb Raider: Anniversary for the Wii. If you didn't know (judging by the fact that not everyone reads journals, I'd say most who are watching me didn't), I've been searching far and wide for Anniversary for the Wii, and nobody seemed to have it. So we had it ordered. I love it. Personally, I think it is more fun than it would be on the computer. You get to interact. Especially during the interactive cutscenes; you fling your remote and Nunchuck as if you're firing your guns during some parts, you "punch" your opponents during the cutscenes... it's basically awesome.
One of the trademark things of the Tomb Raider series is the fact that ANY jump could mean life or death. Whenever I make a narrow jump, it gets my heart going for a little bit, it freaks me out. I know I made it, but it seems like I just BARELY made it. Another trademark of the TR series is its intricate puzzles. I LOVE PUZZLES! They actually get people to think instead of run around and shoot random stuff. Especially with the Wii. Instead of just picking up a cog, placing it in the mechanism, and pulling the lever, you actually have to put in the cog, and move other ones around it to make it a working mechanism! THEN you pull the lever. You also get the Archaeologist's Toolkit. It helps you solve other puzzles, such as ones that require symbols. So, how does it help with symbols? Look around! Find a weird portion of wall, find weak spots for the trowel, and fling the dirt off with it. Then, rub the symbols on paper with charcoal! Use the rubbings to solve the puzzles :D So with the Wii, there's more Tomb Raider to Tomb Raider!
I'm cutting this short right now... Sorry. But to all Tomb Raider fans out there, get Anniversary!!!

:iconchartodileon:
 I'm still playing it. But the levels are so complex, I don't stand a chance on the Time Trials!!!
 I 'unno! It's probably easier, but the Wii is much more fun!

i figured you would be
and i bet they are, its always been a hard game to get the hang of to begin with
and youre probaly right
It's somewhat akward to do certain things. But the Wii is seriously cooler! When Lara is supposed to pull lever, you position the controllers like a lever and "pull it down" like one. It's so cool :D

Oh, wow, you blaze through TR fast. XD I'v played TR: A for a while and I still haven't beaten it yet. Lol. I don't play it much anymore though, but then again, my brother hogs the 360 when possible. It's also my first TR game.

Anyway, aside from that, I've always wanted to try it on the Wii. D:

:XD: When I like a game, I play it a LOT!!! As for your brother, literally KICK him off if you have to |D Or just reset the system :evillaugh: Oh! Maybe get in the way! Agh! I'm rambling! But yes, it's an awesome remake of an awesome game. I played the game when it was on the first PlayStation. And I'm 17! That means I was about 4 or 5 when I played it! I've been a gamer all my life, though :XD:

But it's so cool to play it on the Wii. When you do some actions, it's like "So this is what it's like to do something Lara does"

Argh, I lied. I meant I had TR: L. >< I don't know how I mixed those two up. I loved the first one though, watching my brother play through it...(We still have it, we just can't find the discs)

Maybe I should buy anniversary instead. o.o

Haha. XD I want a Wii now.
